Jody Simpson is a software engineer at Google with 3+ years of experience building products and solving client problems using technology. Before software engineering, she was a Solutions Engineer in Google Ads, driving impact for large scale customers in retail.

Outside of her main role, she is an enthusiastic supporter of technology, community and helping people to grow. She has consistently explored opportunities during her career to create spaces that facilitate greater accessibility to the wider tech ecosystem and she is deeply committed to social impact work, especially in the Caribbean.

Jody dedicates her time to two main orgs: Techports.org, where she is a founder, and WiTC, where she is the co-director. She also actively invests in early stage startups from emerging markets and is interested in anything relating to tech and the Caribbean.
